Recently, Language Solutions had the opportunity to provide Ukrainian-Albanian consecutive interpreting during the Project on Improving Public and Private Professional Education. This project focused on strengthening the links between the public education system and private sector engagement. Taking place across a range of meetings with educational institutions in Tirana, the visit brought together policymakers, administrators, and project stakeholders from different professional backgrounds and countries, fostering diverse perspectives and collaborative dialogue. Our mission was to ensure that communication flowed clearly and smoothly at every stage of the discussions.

We carefully selected specialised interpreters from our network, choosing professionals with a proven background in both Ukrainian and Albanian language services, experience in the field of education and policy, and native proficiency in Ukrainian. Their familiarity with the terminology and institutional settings played a key role in helping both delegations understand one another, regardless of linguistic differences. Clear and accurate interpretation contributed to a productive exchange of ideas and helped build trust between the parties.

The interpreting was delivered in a consecutive format, ideal for the structured nature of the meetings and visits. This method allowed speakers to express their full thoughts before interpreters relayed the message, preserving the nuance and tone of each statement. Interpreters took notes in Albanian or Ukrainian and maintained proximity to the speakers, ensuring that key terms and culturally specific concepts were conveyed to all participants. This approach fostered a natural and respectful rhythm to the discussions, suitable for the diplomatic and educational context of the visit.

As is common in high-level international visits, the agenda evolved throughout the week, with new meetings added and times adjusted. Our team remained flexible and responsive, adapting quickly to schedule changes and collaborating closely with the event coordinators. We ensured that the interpreters were always present, prepared, and informed, even during short-notice adjustments, so that the client could focus on their mission.

The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive. Attendees highlighted how the interpreting quality enabled deeper discussion and better understanding of each side’s priorities. Our team’s attention to detail, punctuality, and smooth coordination were also praised. This project reaffirmed our commitment to providing specialized language services that go beyond words — we act as facilitators of connection, cooperation, and professional growth.
