The EXPO hybrid event series during November 2024 in Tirana organized by the UN Women was a transformative experience for women entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, especially those seeking to start or grow their businesses. This initiative gave them invaluable opportunities to network, exchange ideas, and connect with industry experts and peers.

Language Solutions proudly provided simultaneous interpreting services for the main two-day EXPO satellite event as well as for other mixed-format activities. These services ensured effective communication across various onsite and online locations, catering to participants regardless of their language.

We engaged professional interpreters with specialized experience in women’s leadership and entrepreneurship, enabling us to meet the unique needs of the event. Whether onsite or virtually, our interpreters facilitated seamless communication during panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions focused on empowering women in business.

The main satellite EXPO event lasted for two days taking place onsite and via Zoom for the remote participants. Throughout two weeks we provided professional interpreting services for the onsite and virtual sessions of its activities. This allowed women entrepreneurs from various locations to participate in discussions and workshops, further enhancing the inclusivity of the series.

We ensured smooth communication through both simultaneous interpretation and consecutive interpretation from English into Albanian and vice-versa for onsite sessions while maintaining clear communication through remote interpreting for online activities.

The EXPO series was not only an opportunity for participants but also for our interpreters. Through their small contribution through interpretation, they gained valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by women entrepreneurs. By being part of this significant event, our interpreters were able to learn from the speakers, participants, and discussions, adding to their professional growth and understanding of women’s leadership in business.
